Terms of use
These general conditions sales apply to any purchase of products or services made on the Cigars Outlet website either http://www.cigares-outlet.ch/ (hereinafter the site), through paper order cards or online, by phone or fax. Conditions specific to certain products or services are defined below. Online product offers and prices are only valid as long as they are visible on the site and while stocks last. Drawings, images or diagrams appear on the site and in all other documentation only for illustration and do not form part of the contractual conditions. The information in the explanatory notes is given for information only and does not constitute contractual documents. The Cigars Outlet accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions relating to said drawings, images or diagrams or appearing in said notices.
1. Price
The prices shown are in Swiss francs exclusively. They include all taxes (VAT) and do not include participation in handling and shipping costs which will be billed separately. All orders are payable exclusively in Swiss francs. Cigars Outlet reserves the right to modify its prices at any time but the prices invoiced to the customer for the products delivered are those in force on the date of the order and which appear on the order confirmation.
2. Command
A command becomes final only after its acceptance by Cigars Outlet. The sending of the order by the customer implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale in their entirety, to the exclusion of all other terms or conditions. Cigars Outlet reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order. In Switzerland, the purchase of cigars is prohibited for minors. The customer confirms by his order that he is at least 18 years old. In case of out of stock, a credit note can be sent to the customer by Cigars Outlet. The customer undertakes to comply with the legal requirements for the purchase of tobacco and alcohol in force in his country. Any shipping costs in the event of an order blocked at customs will be borne by the customer.
3. Payment
The invoiced price is the price indicated on the order confirmation sent to the customer. Unless otherwise stipulated, all products are payable by means of the following credit cards: EuroCard / MasterCard, Visa. All payment transactions are made in a secure area. The data recorded by Cigars Outlet constitutes proof of all transactions made between Cigars Outlet and its customers. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of financial transactions. The credit card used for payment is only debited when the order is dispatched.
4. Returns and complaints
It is the customer's responsibility to check the goods immediately upon delivery and to make all reservations and complaints regarding any defects or non-conformities; said reservations and complaints must be sent to Cigars Outlet by email or registered letter as soon as possible but no later than fourteen (14) days after delivery. Any shipping costs in the event of an order blocked at customs will be borne by the customer. Cigars Outlet cannot be held responsible for any seizure, confiscation or destruction of your order by the competent authorities of the country of destination.
